The Reykjavik to Foundation is a financially healthy not-for-profit organization that relies on sponsors, the income from ticket sales and funding from governmental or private institutions. The Icelandic Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Secretary of Culture and the Ministry of Export and Trade has spoken out their support for the Reykjavik to Foundation.
The foundation collaborates with Icelandic sponsors as well as with sponsors in the countries where the project takes place. The Reykjavik to Foundation has proven that it is a professional partner for sponsors and other parties. Everybody involved can count on the best possible PR and marketing support, in the country where the festival is taking place as well as in Iceland.
At the end of the calendar year we present a detailed financial report and an analysis of the individual festivals in that year, including visitors demography and an overview of the received press attention. These reports are presented to the involved venues, funds and sponsors. They are also used to better the next festival editions.
